School and the Bus Stop

Normally I'm the only one waiting for the bus at the end of my driveway.  As I've been standing here... I noticed something.  High school kids don't care anymore. 

Which brings me to a story I read about:
A 17 year old female was driving with two of her friends.  She asked them if they wanted to die and purposely ran off the road causing an accident.

This makes me think that those under 18 or even 21 should not be allowed to get their license.  A few people began to argue with me over this.  Saying age isn't the issue its the girls mental state.

I look at it this way.... if by law kids weren't allowed to drive until either 18 or 21.... that situation would have never happened.

As a parent, what do you think?

Wedding and Vacation

Hey all... I'm back with an update.  First and foremost ...I'M MARRIED! The wedding was a success and turned out beautiful.  I'm so grateful for all the friends and family that shared the day with us. Here is a look into this event.

Our daughter made a beautiful flower girl. My cousins son was the ring bearer. We had two bridesmaids and Groomsman. 

Shortly after we took our honeymoon and vacation.  We went to the Poconos to the resort here and it was beautiful.

Summer Fun

As I'm taking my breather for the night, I'm reflecting on the time spend and the upcoming moments that are left for the summer. This weekend is our camping trip. Next weekend is our wedding.  Then off to our honeymoon. 

After we come back, my nephew's first birthday is that weekend.  The following Monday my daughter starts school.

Where did time go? This summer went too quickly.  Do you feel the same way?

Fun in the Sun

Wow, it's been hot lately. It seems the air conditioner isn't even working the way it should because of how hot it is. So... Our fourth went well. I hope everyone else had a great day. I wanted to share our day with you in pictures...

Then once we were finished at the pool we went and enjoyed some fireworks. I didn't get many pictures here because of it being dark. Hope you enjoy the photo's and have a wonderful weekend.

Less than Two Months

Here I am again to check in with everyone. I sort of can't wait until after the wedding so I can begin blogging here everyday again. The wedding plans are stressful but coming along. The closer it gets.. the more anxiety I feel but I'm sure it comes with the whole wedding/getting married thing.

I love it because it reminds me of my favorite author: Edgar Allan Poe!!! Next on the list is gathering the rest of the decorations and getting odds and ends that are left.

Crazy busy

Wow it's been forever since I've actually took the time to post on this blog. My writing blog seemed to have taken over. I apologize for that. I'm trying hard to reach my deadline for my upcoming book, Silenced.

The wedding planning is going. Very stressful. I'd like to know who the person is that thought it was a brilliant idea to make this occasion so big.  I'm down to two months and I think I'm going to loose my mind. Things are crazy right now.
