There are many books that I turned to for my grief, however, I've always loved to read. Here's a list of the books that I have either read or I plan to read.

Right after Dakota passed, I dived into books about other angels who gained their wings or books about stronger faith, prayers, and healing. It was hard for me to read them but over time... it's all I wanted to do. I realized that getting lost in these books helped me free myself from the heartache of loss. 

How my Life Changed in a Blink of an Eye

I know some of you are wondering what I meant by the title. Well, in order for me to continue on with this blog, I need to reveal it's purpose. My husband and I got pregnant in August 2012 with a little girl. The pregnancy was full of stress and it was a really rough road for me.

On May 27th, 2013 I went into labor with my daughter Dakota. I made the trip to the hospital and learned that my child had passed. She was a stillborn. This hit me and my family hard. So, there you have it in the shortened version. The full version will be in a book I am writing which is called... Saying Goodbye Without Saying Hello.

I'll tell the full story within this book. But while I am writing it, I'm not going to reveal anything that's in it. As for now, when I'm missing my little girl.... I will express it here on this blog. I'll turn to the world for support and I hope that one day my blog will help someone who has been forced to walk this horrible path.

I'm going to go finish redesigning my blog for now. But I'm sure I'll be back soon.

Mid-Month Update for April

It's been a while since I've posted. Sorry about that. Things around here are crazy. I've been working hard on my newest book which is untitled at the moment. I've been doing book reviews like crazy as well as author interviews on my other blog, The Writing World.

I've been being a momma to one special little girl. I'm so proud of her. She's been making great grades in school and has been learning so much.

I wanted to do a little shout out:

Congratulations to my niece, Rae Lee Danielle !!!!! Her name is in today's paper for HIGH HONORS for the third nine-week grading period.

Congratulations to my daughter, Emma. She also made HIGH HONORS this grading period.

I'm proud of both of you. Keep up the GOOD WORK !!!!!

I do have a review coming up for a children's book on bullying. Keep your eyes open for it. I think this is a great one and it was fun to read with my daughter. (The million times she's asked me to read it and the number keeps getting higher.)

I'm still making progress on my wedding. Although I don't have pictures to post on it today. There are some things I can't due to the groom. He might see the post and well... as tradition says.. he can't see some of the stuff.

Review:
The Circle of Sorcerers takes you on an unexpected journey with it's main character- Laedron Telpist. Laedron is a Sorcerer in the making. During his training, an unexpected event forces him to learn faster then he expects. He finds some great friends and they all go into a journey to fighting. In this world, Priests and Mages go into battle for power. Laedron and his friends are put right in the middle of this battle shortly after leaving home.

I enjoyed reading about Laedron and his journey. The story is packed with adventure and leaves the reader wanting more. The Character's are written in such a way where they stay with the reader even after the end of the book. The end of the book ended rapidly which took me by surprise. I'm definitely looking forward to the second book.
