Exciting and Stressful.... Who would have thought it??

I mentioned a while ago that my fiance and I set a date for our wedding. This I must confess has consumed a great bit of my time along with my blog for readers and writers. So, I found a few minutes to jump on here and share the plans so far with my awesome readers. At first, I had no clue how I wanted to do my wedding. I just picked two colors I though would be great with no great meaning to them. I began planning based on these colors. After about two months, I came to realize that I wanted a unique wedding. One that will stand out and be remembered because of the colors, theme, and small tid bits within.

So, my fiance and I began talking. We aren't your normal couple. We are know to always do things backwards or up side down if possible. So, why not do this with the wedding as well. So, we decided to add a theme and spice up the colors a bit. The first colors of choice was baby blue and baby pink... but this isn't us at all. Now the final colors are our favorite. Hot pink and black. I'm sure you can guess which color I like and which one he likes.

Then we decided that the frilly and pretty aspect that reminds you of a princess .... wasn't me either. So, our new theme is..... Punk!!! The idea's that my wedding party has thrown around brought about some awesome idea's. I'd like to share with you my plans from this point out with the wedding and then after we get back from our honeymoon, I'd love the chance to share my pictures with you.

Book Design- Silenced

Who-ville Hair Day.....

  This week is Read Across America Week. Today is a rather fun day. Lil Miss's school sent home and event calendar where they asked the students to do different things each day. Well, today's event is Who-ville Hair day where all students are asked to wear their hair like a Who-ville citizen. I just loved the outcome of Lil Misses look and just had to share it with you. Take a look:

I loved this. It's so much fun but she wasn't impressed or excited.

I couldn't get her to wear a different pair of shoes.... but other then those... How do you think we did?

Emotional Basket Case

If you've been following along with my story, you know I recently got a full mouth of dentures. This process has been less then satisfying. I haven't wore them like I should. As a matter of fact, I really haven't worn them. Today's been the longest which has been six hours so far. I'm trying to keep them in until the adhesive gives.

At this point, most of the pain is gone. I was having bad pain with just placing them in my mouth. But I had an adjustment done yesterday. They feel a lot better. Although I think I may need to go back because I think they need to be adjusted again.

I'm not really sure how to feel about this. I want to look like myself again. But I feel I look different. Like weird, different. I was hoping for so much and I'm scared that I may be disappointed in the end. At this time, I really can't eat with them in.... and that's a shame because it's one of the reasons why I needed to get them. Even soft foods are difficult. In all honesty, it's really hard eating food you can't feel on the roof of your mouth. Drinking liquids aren't so hard. I've pretty much mastered that.

So, anyone with dentures....I have a question... How can I begin eating foods I love? I wanna eat a steak.. but have no idea how I'm going to get there.

The Writing World...

Hey there,

As some of you have probably noticed, I haven't really posted much within the past week. This is due to me launching my new/old blog called The Writing World. I created this blog last year to use sort of like a journal for my journey to being published. I've made some more recent changes. I'm now doing book reviews there.
